Gloria Massey

Head of School

Gloria Massey comes to us from Conway Christian School where she served as Chief Administrator/Head of School from its founding in 1992 through 2016.  For the past two years, she has served as Education Specialist and Director of Biblical Integration and Accreditation. She also served as the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) Arkansas District Representative.   During her tenure, CCS purchased 31 acres and built high school, elementary and preschool facilities (including a gymnasium) to accommodate over 600 students. In addition, a baseball field and football/soccer complex was constructed.  Through the years, the school has hosted Math Olympics, Speech Meets, Art Festivals, Science Fairs, History Projects, Creative Writing and Spelling Bees. The program has grown to include Educational Therapy, Reading Intervention Program, concurrent classes, Quiz Bowl teams, National Merit Finalists, choir, band, drama, Apple computer lab, technology lab and state of the art science lab.

Gloria holds a BSE in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a MSE in Education from the University of Central Arkansas.  She has also taken Bible courses from Central Baptist College and administration courses from Pensacola Christian College. She is certified by the state of Arkansas and holds Educators Professional Lifetime Superintendent certification and All Levels Principals certification through ACSI.

Born and raised in Conway, Gloria was married to her first husband for 29 years before God took him home.  In 2006, God brought another Godly man, Monroe (Roe) into her life. This summer they will have been married 12 years.  Together they have 6 children and 12 grandchildren.

They are active at Beryl Baptist Church where Roe serves as the Sunday School Director and Gloria is on staff as choir director and pianist.  They are involved in missions, including mission trips to Dominica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and many parts of the US.

Gloria is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord through Christian education and Abundant Life.  She can testify that God “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think!”
